Mission Statement Of The FPD

In partnership with all segments of the Fayetteville community, the Fayetteville Police Departments will provide for the general protection, safety and well being of the residents, businesses and visitors of the Town Of Fayetteville, West Virginia. This will be accomplished through a proactive approach in the prevention, deterrence, detection and investigation of criminal activity. The Town of Fayetteville Police Department will seek to contribute to the highest quality of life for the Town of Fayetteville through the assistance, cooperation, involvement and interaction of the citizenry. All activities of the Town of Fayetteville Police Department will be conducted lawfully in accordance with the laws of the Town of Fayetteville, State of West Virginia and The United States of America.

Text Box: We are accepting applications for Certified Police Officers. Must be a graduate of WV State Police Academy. All applicants must have a good driving record. Background investigation and drug testing are required. The Town of Fayetteville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
